STRATEGIC REPOSITIONING OF AFRICAN COUNTRIES


NOVAMONTI has a network of consultants, assistants, and curators, as well as international partners, to design, organize, and develop events with global impact. Africa and the African Diaspora have been our main focus, but always from the perspective of increasing the continent's soft power and strengthening its image as a continent that produces humanism and the capacity to share its civilizational values.

In 2023/ 2024, NOVAMONTI sponsored and co-organized, alongside Rosa de Porcelana Editora, the following events:


• Sponsorship of several editions of Rosa de Porcelana Editora (Cape Verde/Portugal)
• International Colloquium on the Centenary of Amílcar Cabral (Cape Verde)
• 6th Edition of the Sal World Literature Festival (Cape Verde)
• Centenary Gathering of Amílcar Cabral (Luxembourg)
• Participation in and presentation of the book by philosopher Filomeno Lopes (Vatican)
• Sorbonne University Colloquium on the Centenary of Amílcar Cabral (France)

In 2025, NOVAMONTI sponsored and co-organized, alongside Rosa de Porcelana Editora, the following initiatives:


• Creation of the Reflection Group on the Catholic Church in Africa (Portugal/Cape Verde)
• Studies on the Importance of Holding World Youth Day (WYD) in Africa
• 7th Edition of the Sal World Literature Festival, celebrating the 50th anniversaries of the independence of Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe (Cape Verde)
• 5 prospective missions to the Vatican regarding the post-Jubilee 2025 period
• Organizing commissioning and curating scientific, cultural, and diplomatic events
• International event assistance and consulting
• Design Office for Global Impact Projects

Planned events for 2026/2027 include:


• Study and partnership missions to Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Cape Verde, Cameroon, South Korea, France, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Italy, Senegal, and the Vatican.
• To promote an African city capable of hosting the World Youth Day (WYD) after SEOUL 2027
• To promote African destinations as places of faith, pilgrimage, and worship
• To develop an African observatory for proposing Concordats with the Catholic Church
• To rewrite the Missionary and Evangelizing History of the Catholic Church in Africa
• Organizing mega-events in the Vatican to reposition Africa in the perspective of the future growth of the Catholic Church
• Holding the 8th edition of the Salt World Literature Festival
• Tribute to the First Congress of Black Writers and Artists (Sorbonne, Paris)
